This was a very informative week for me. I feel like I learned about a bunch of new concepts even though I have already been using them.
I have been using Web 2.0 tools in my classroom since I can remember however this is the first I'm hearing them called Web 2.0. When I first saw that vocabulary I was sure there was going to be mass confusion however I realized I just simply didn't know the terminology.
I enjoyed the web search for information about our Lesson Topic. This gave me some good ideas as to where I want to go with my topic and how many resources are out there. I also enjoyed being very well aware of the details such as Ads, Last Updated Date, etc. This made me realize that although there are many resources choosing the sources that are most legitimate is the best solution. I also enjoyed this assignment because I had to critically look at the site without my own personal feelings. I am doing a topic that is very near and dear to my heart so having a critical eye is very important.
I am excited to give my presentation on my Web 2.0 website and to also get valuable resources that I can use in my classroom or in my personal life.
I am really enjoying this class and all that I am learning. I can't wait for the HTML page and the infographic that is coming up!
